Attyflin Estate to Share its Story at Burren Slow Food Festival

Attyflin Estate is looking forward to travelling to Co Clare for the 2020 Burren Slow Food Festival which takes place from Friday 15 – Sunday 17 May.

This year, we are part of the exciting programme of events thanks to an invitation from Slow Food Clare founder and festival chair, Brigitta Hedin Curtin.  During an “In Conversation” session, we will talk to renowned food and drink journalist Leslie Williams from the Irish Examiner about our estate, its history, current facilities and what ignited our passion for growing different varieties of apples.

During the session at 12 noon on Sunday 17 May in the Pavilion in Lisdoonvarna, the audience will have an opportunity to sample some of the Attyflin Estate award winning juices.  Entry is free and we would love to see you there!

This year’s Burren Slow Food Festival has adopted the theme of “sustainable (food) development.”  There are cookery demonstrations, talks, an artisan food and craft market and lots more. The full programme of events is on the Slow Food Clare website.
